CPEC is a strategic game changer for Pakistan.This economic corridor is intended to rapidly expand and upgrade Pakistan’s infrastructure,as well as deepen and broaden economic links with China. Considering the geo-strategic impactof CPEC, SCIL installed a new state-of-the-art and coal fired power plant in Faisalabad. Banu Mukhtar Contracting (Pvt.) Ltd was selected as theconstruction partner for this prestigious project.

Our scope of work comprised the civil works for 40 MW power plant which was inaugurated and highly appreciated by the honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan on September 3, 2016. Main power house, 80 meters high chimney, cooling tower, neutralization pits, reactor pits, area development and boundary wall were all the components of project. The work was completed to the utmost satisfaction of client as well as the design teams of Chinese origin. The production of electricity is in progress achieving all the milestones of success.
